I assume that Arrow's deal is similar to Olive's and Kino's deals and previous Paramount releases are excluded ( so no Black Sunday, no The Tenant, no April's Fools Day, etc.)

Why no Black Sunday? AFAIK, it never got a UK home video release (unlike The Tenant).

Anyway, if true I suppose this eliminates any possibility of Days of Heaven, The Parallax View, Witness, Hard Eight, The Spy Who Came In From the Cold, Gallipoli etc. Several of those are OOP though which might change Paramount's mind on a few of them, and besides this might be going through Universal anyway (who are seemingly more collaborative when it comes to licensing, even letting Arrow restore some of their back catalogue).

However, we could see things like Johnny Guitar, High Noon, Invasion of the Body Snatchers (Siegel), Macbeth (Welles), The Pawnbroker, Bad Company (Benton), Rio Grande, Phase IV, China Gate, Long Day's Journey into Night, Sleep My Love, Cloak & Dagger, The Slender Thread, Child's Play (Lumet), Samson & Delilah, The Running Man (Glaser). A few of those were released by Universal previously but I believe the rights have switched to Paramount since then.

I bet a bunch of the above have been nabbed by Eureka though - they recently announced Cujo, and I was told a few Paramount titles will appear as MoC titles before the end of the year. Some of the smaller labels have listed Paramount titles on Amazon recently, so I'm guessing Arrow and Eureka (and maybe Powerhouse) have acquired the cream of the crop.

I wasn't aware that Black Sunday never got a UK release.

Until Paramount's Paramount titles (as opposed to Paramount's Republic titles) start getting released from indie labels, I will continue to assume the deals are still excluding previous Paramount releases.

According to this interview with Dante Tomaselli, Arrow is going to be releasing Alice, Sweet Alice.

It’ll have to be a US only release since 88 Films recently put it out in the UK. I wonder if this means other HensTooth titles are up for grabs

Alice, Sweet Alice ended up with Warner Brothers and in 2015 Warner Archive confirmed that they were working on it. Don't know if WB's rights expired or if Arrow's deal for Cruising resulted in them getting more titles.

In this podcast interview from 2017 with Alfred Sole, he says that he owns the copyright on the film, but WB has the paperwork, so the lab wouldn't give him the negative. That may explain why the Warner Archive release never happened.

Didn't Arrow also confirm on social media that Cruising was a one-off deal for now?

They confirmed it on their blu-ray.com Q&A, indeed.

I hope so. It’s in dire need of a release with the correct aspect ratio.

Knowing Arrow's clues, it could be any film set in New York or made by a New Yorker....Manhattan Murder Mystery perhaps? Kenneth Lonergan's Margaret?

Or even just a Columbia title.

I'm thinking it might be a Columbia Noir boxset. That's why they chose a picture of Liberty in black silhouette.

There's on Amazon.uk a DVD cover of: Kentucky Fried Movie Special Edition Arrow Video, that has the Statue of Liberty on the cover.

Even tough Amazon claims it's region 1 DVD, the cover has the BBFC logo "18".

This is Arrow Academy though, not Video where Kentucky Fried Movie would belong. I’m hoping for the Hellman.

Crime and Punishment seems to be from Columbia, so it seems it really was it.
