By registered, you mean "sent to you by email"? They said that some people's loyalty giftcards were accidentally sent to their spam folder for some reason. Although it might be an odd situation - as you had 59 to go, and I think your order would work out to exactly $59 (as it only counts the dollar value, not the change, thus an order of 59.40 would only count as 59, not 60 - if I'm recalling all this correctly).McNulty wrote:Having the same issue here with the $50 gift certificate not registering. I had 59 points to go so I grabbed Rebecca, Barry Lyndon and FWWM -- last time I got the gift certificate it registered almost immediately and I was able to get another order in during a flash sale. This time, however, my account credits read "$0.00" and the loyalty points are back to "499 to go". I was thinking maybe they used the gift certificate on the $59 order I made, but nope, my card was charged.
Haven't received any response from Criterion after two emails (and a tweet!) Bummer, as I would like to use the $50 for a few other releases during the sale.
Also: you have to manually enter the giftcard code (which is case sensitive) on the payment screen for it to work.
Since I saw someone have this problem elsewhere: the discount code COOP - is case sensitive (so you can't type in "coop" or "cOOp" or whatever, has to be all capitals).
